Quick update.

I know I haven't posted in an eternity and I definately have tons of things to post! However, life is crazy right now and I simply haven't had time. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon..

Until then, please pray for this sweet family....
Prayers for Stellan

Even though I dont know them personally, I have followed MckMama's blog since the beginning. It's amazing.

Hopefully, I'll be updating soon!

One of many projects.

So, a couple weeks ago I had to design my first bulletin board for my classroom. The theme was on the different types of bears. So I thought I'd share what I came up with...

I loved how it came out! I'm loving teaching and think I'm finally starting to get a hang of this :)
Remember this is for preschoolers....

and I wouldn't feel right without giving recognition to Maggie for helping me come up with the title.

I put velcro on the back of the the writing strips so they could practice sight words and identify the different types of bears.

Zeiser Pharmacy.

Strep throat, 104 temp., vomiting, & double-ear infection. This sweet girl never gets a break!

I'm thinking about putting our family into isolation and see if that helps fight off these viruses that keep attacking her. In the meantime, I think I'll start taking stock out in Eli Lilly since we own half of the company with all of the antibiotics weve purchased!

Answered Prayer.

I'm so excited yet so nervous about this answered prayer...

After a year of looking for a babysitter for the kids, I think we have finally chosen one!

It's crazy how this all came about but long story-short, TJ & I met with her yesterday and it seems too good to be true. She only has 3 full-time kids and then a couple other part-timers (which ours will be part-time) and they have run of the house. Play room, home-made lunches, and a computer lab! For only $1.50/hr per kid, it's a huge blessing!

They've definately never been with anybody else besides family/friends so I'm a little nervous about how they're going to act, but they seemed to like the layout yesterday when we went. It will only be on Mondays and Tuesdays during the day when I'm in class. But with us doing this, I'm praying that TJ & I are able to see each other more and we have more time as a family. The whole switching each other's schedule to watch them has not been good lately and I finally decided it was something we needed to do.

What's even more of a benefit, is that this lady will babysit all hours! Mornings, Nights, & Weekends. I am more than excited and can't believe I'm actually going to leave them with someone but I really think it's going to be good.

Anyways, I just wanted to share my excitement!! Their first day is next Monday so I'll let you know how it goes :)

a LONG story.

Ok, so after being somewhat attacked by my uncle I mean by a certain family member this past weekend, I've decided to do a special post on our families. It's been misunderstood that I don't talk about our families enough. I apologize if some of you think that we don't have family, b/c obviously that's not the case. We both have amazing families but don't get much visiting from them up here in the North, so we just haven't had any updated pictures.

So here's where we...
came from.... (scary, i know ;)
Introducing....my side of the family first.
Two of the most important people. My mom (Denise) and grandpa (Jerry). My mom helps us so much with the kids and is always just a phone call away. I can go on for hours about my grandpa and I'm sure most of you know why. He's definately the one who's made me & my sisters who we are today (and my grandma, who we miss more than life). Love them both greatly!

This is my youngest sister, Lauren, and her b/f who is attached to her hip. :). It's hard to believe she's almost 18 years old!! Wow, time flies...*sniffle*. She is also so good with helping us out whenever we need her.

My oldest sister, Christy, or my other half. This is the fine lady that my children will go to if something ever happens to TJ or I. She has totally amazed us on how awesome of an aunt she is. "Aunt Tisty" were one of the first words Ethan & Emma could both say! She is definately my rock.

pay attention: This is my wonderful and only uncle, Terry. :). He has been there for us countless times and is pretty cool. Next to him is his soon to be bride, Linda. We love you both dearly!
Here's just a picture of my extended family on my grandparents side. Click on the picture to enlarge. Back: (L to R) Christy, Uncle Lyle, Grandpa, Uncle Joe, Aunt Ora, and I (who is 9 months pregnant!). Front: Lauren, Mom, Aunt Mary Lou, Uncle Terry, Kara (cousin), and Ethan.
Now, onto more...
Introducing my lovely Florida fam...
This is my dad or "G" pa to Ethan & Emma. We hate that they live so far away but we've been getting to see them at least twice a year!
Jordan (sister), Ilona (step-mom), and the all-star Jacob (bro)
These 3 members of the familia are amazing and so much fun to hang out with. We miss them terribly but thanks to facebook are able to stay in touch more!
************************
Now, let's move on.....

TJ's mom. One amazing woman! She's given labor to all 7 of his brothers/sisters. And for those of you that know TJ, the rest of them act the exact same! (Now, you know why I think she's an amazing woman :).
TJ's Dad. (or Mamaw & Papaw Z. to Ethan & Emma). He's definately one awesome papa. He's always keeping TJ in line! We love them both greatly.

Here's TJ's youngest brother/sister (Peter/Kelly) with his 2 of his youngest cousins (Nathan/Nicolaus) and Dad.
TJ's oldest sister, Tracy; Her husband, Ryan, & our absoulutely adorable neice, Abby. They also have another little girl on the way!

TJ & his brother Kris. (3rd oldest)

Aunt B. (next in line) and Emma. She's our little massage therapist in the family and is awesome. She also loves to buy our children very noisy & loud toys whenever she can...

TJ's youngest brother, Peter. This picture shows TJ trying to keep him in line.

youngest sister, Kelly. It's crazy how grown up she is. She's such a little helper and actually knitted everyone of us a scarf for Christmas. so cute!

Ok, so this is a VERY old picture of the whole Zeiser family in Tennessee but I'm sad to say I couldn't find a recent picture of Andy (the middle brother/Tj's other half) so I had to post this pic to prove he does exist. But don't worry, I'll find a picture and post it soon.
Well hopefully this helps on catching a glimpse of our family life.
sidenote: Terry, this took me 2 1/2 hours to create. Hopefully, this satisfies you for a while. :)

Reject.

Alright, folks. I'm feeling really rejected about now due to me writing 6 different posts and not getting 1 stinkin' comment!

Seriously, people I need you to talk to me!

You can say hi, your post was terrible for all I care! At least I know you're lovin' the updates!

ahem.

Thank you.

Time Flies.

It's hard to believe that this sweet baby boy.....

is soon going to be 4 years old...

I can't begin to tell you where the time has gone,
but it blows my mind. I have 2 more months to prepare
myself for this little boy turning into a preschooler!

Paint. Baths. Catepillars.

So I decided we were going to have craft day a couple weeks ago and printed these cute catepillars off the internet. Since Emma is getting older I figured we could do their first painting craft together. Ethan is not a messy person anyways so how hard could it be? Seriously, this would be a piece of cake!
I threw a tablecloth down, put them in some paint clothes, and let them paint away!

doing so good...

Ethan, making sure to stay in the lines and rinsing each finger after each paint color to make sure no colors are mixed! of course!

and then our precious Emma.....

I walked out to get more batteries for my camera and this is what I came back to. On her defense, with only 2 minutes of being alone, she did an excellent job of making use of the paint! If you click on the picture to make it bigger-you'll notice paint all over arms, legs, & even the chair.

and of course....why not a close up of her spectacular work....

...AND THE FINISHED PROJECT (very cute!)
